In Senior 1 Listening and Speaking, students will get immersive exposure to English as a living communication medium.

Students will also improve their ability to think, write, and create in English. 

This course will focus on the students ability to solve problems in new and innovative ways through cooperative and individual learning methods. 

Students will expand their vocabularies through the use of contextual clues and analytical processes. 

Students will further explore the English language and promote and practice their critical thinking skills. They will focus on properly asking questions and thinking about their own thinking as well as assessing the information they are providing as well as what they are reseraching or using as a basis for their answers.

They will be exposed to ideas to help make them better students as well as better informed consumers. These wll include the disorders, the physical structures of the brain and how they affect the body,mind, and the emotional state of the person. This class should help students to learn methods to deal with stress and as well as daily life and better understand why we make certain choices. Additionally students will understand the mechanisms by which we learn, think, and speak.
